Could you support us this Harvest?
Cardiff Foodbank is a community-based project operating throughout the city to tackle poverty. With the Cost of Living crisis, we are seeing an increased demand for our services on this time last year – and we’re expecting to see even more people needing to use one of our foodbank centres this autumn. Would you consider helping the food bank this Harvest time?
Our food bank helps individuals and families in crisis through the provision of emergency food supplies, donated by local organisations and the general public. Last year Cardiff Foodbank provided food parcels for 20,208 people, 7770 (38.5%) of whom were children under the age of sixteen.

Church Harvest collections
We believe that churches are vital partners in our current operations, and in achieving our goal of a UK where everyone can afford life’s essentials – and food banks can close their doors for good. Therefore, this Harvest, we are inviting you to use the attached resource with your congregation. It contains suggestions of numerous activities through which you can creatively food raise, while considering the issues of hunger and justice in your local community and across the UK.
The back page of this resource can also be torn off and displayed in your church, to encourage people to donate during Harvest.
