Our foodbank relies on your generosity and support.
Thank you for your interest in supporting Cardiff Foodbank. Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
All food and stock items donated to Cardiff Foodbank are redistributed to help alleviate food poverty. We support people unable to afford food due to a financial crisis. Donated stock is given free of charge directly to people in need through our client facing foodbank centres. When stock levels permit we also make provision available to other organisations who are also helping individuals and families facing food crisis. We work with these organisations to ensure that any stock provision is distributed in line with our aims and objectives and free of charge.
Our shopping list on this page shows the food and essential items that we need and don’t need right now. We will always accept good quality carrier bags.
All donations must be in date and in the original package and unopened. We unable to accept gift wrapped items – gift wrapped donations will need to be opened and checked before distribution.

There are three ways to get food donations to us:
- If you are happy to drop off food donations, please bring them to our Warehouse – address and opening times below. Our warehouse entrance is at the rear of our unit, please follow the signage on the site.
- We also welcome online supermarket food shop deliveries, please only order long life and non-perishable items (nb nothing refrigerated or frozen please) to our Warehouse – address and opening times below. ASDA and Tesco collection points are intended for food that has been purchased by in-store shoppers only. Any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought into a ASDA and Tesco store for collection should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.
