Operations Coordinator

About the role

  • 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am start)

  • Permanent contract.

  • 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.

  • Salary: £29,710

  • Location: Cardiff Foodbank Office/Warehouse (Splott, Cardiff)

Our vision is simple but powerful: no one in Cardiff goes hungry.

As our Operations Coordinator, you’ll help turn that vision into reality every single day.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑moving environment — someone who loves solving problems, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure support reaches the people who need it most.

This is a role at the heart of Cardiff Foodbank’s mission. You’ll be the person who keeps our operations flowing, our stock moving, and our city‑wide network supported.

As Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee and streamline warehouse processes, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and with purpose.
  • Support food distribution across Cardiff, helping us get essential supplies to our client‑facing distribution centres.
  • Lead on sourcing and resourcing, making sure we have what we need, when we need it.
  • Manage our fleet of vehicles, keeping them road‑ready and ensuring our drivers can deliver with confidence.

Every tin, every parcel, every delivery — it all starts with strong operations.

If you’re organised, proactive, and motivated by meaningful work, this role offers the chance to make a real, tangible difference in your community.

Join us, and help build a Cardiff where no one goes hungry.
