- Fixed-term contract until Friday 28th April 2028

Help us ensure no one in Cardiff goes hungry.
Are you a multi-tasking whizz who thrives in a bustling reception environment? At Cardiff Foodbank, no two days are the same. One moment you might be speaking to a person in crisis on the phone, the next you’re ensuring vital financial data is accurately recorded to keep our food supplies flowing.
We are looking for an Administrator who gets a genuine "buzz" out of keeping things orderly. You’ll be at the heart of our office, providing the administrative backbone that allows our frontline teams to support people in crisis across Cardiff.
This job is for you if:
- You have an eye for detail: You understand that an organised filing system or an accurate database entry isn't just admin—it’s how we ensure a family gets the support they need and work towards our vision that no-one in Cardiff goes hungry.
- You are a "people person": You can balance professional efficiency with the empathy and compassion required to communicate with vulnerable clients, valuable supporters and passionate volunteers.
- You stay calm under pressure: You enjoy the energy of a busy environment and can pivot quickly when priorities shift.
Why join us?
Join a small, dedicated staff team (plus more than 200 volunteers) in Cardiff where your organisational skills have a direct, daily impact on our community. We offer Real Living Wage, good holidays and the opportunity to make a lasting difference on a daily basis.
While this is a fixed-term position until April 2028, there is a possibility that this position may be extended or made permanent, subject to organisational requirements and the status of the secondment at the end of the term.
