Volunteer Coordinator

About the role

  • 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, and some evenings/weekends with flexible working arrangements in place to accommodate this)

  • Permanent contract.

  • 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.

  • Salary: £29,710

  • Location: Cardiff Foodbank Office/Warehouse (Splott, Cardiff)

We’re looking for a passionate, organised Volunteer Coordinator to lead and grow our incredible volunteer community — the heart of everything we do.

In this role, you will:

  • Inspire, recruit, and train new volunteers who want to make a difference.
  • Support and champion our amazing team of 200+ volunteers across multiple Cardiff locations.
  • Keep our volunteer programme running smoothly, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Build strong relationships, sharing feedback and celebrating the impact volunteers have in helping us achieve our vision.

Our volunteers are extraordinary — they give their time, energy, and compassion to help ensure no one in our city goes hungry.
