Cardiff Mental Health Team (CMHT) There are five CMHTs in Cardiff. They provide mental health service provision to clients aged 18 – 65 experiencing serious or enduring mental health problems. Access to the service is made by referral, referrals being made by GP, other service providers and in some instances self referral, provided the person being referred is aware that the referral is being made.
