Help stock our shelves for summer!
Cardiff Foodbank has launched a brand new 'foodraiser' for schools – "Bring a Tin, Watch Them Win!”
This year, parents are being asked to donate a tin of food at their child's sports day. The aim is to restock our warehouse, which typically becomes very low on food supplies in the summer.
If you work at a school or are a member of your PTA and would like to be involved, please fill out our form by clicking this link. We can then make arrangements to collect the donations from your school.
To help you promote this event, you can download an editable flyer in English or Welsh that you can share with parents when advertising your Sports Day later in the term.
Finally, we know that some schools hold their sports days at the National Indoor Athletic Centre (NIAC). We have already spoken to the staff at NIAC, and we are delighted that they are happy to have a central donation point in their reception for any schools taking part in this initiative.
We would love to see as many schools as possible getting involved to help other families through the summer, and we hope your school will want to join us!
