Meet the team
Behind all of our amazing volunteers, are a dedicated team of staff all working to see that no one in Cardiff goes hungry. Here's a little introduction to them all.
Rachel Biggs
Rachel leads the Cardiff Foodbank charity, focussing on vision, communications and managing the staff team.
Mark Tugwell
Mark manages all things operational – from sourcing food, to getting it to the people that need it in our distribution centres.
Liz Davies
Liz oversees the strategic team, playing a crucial role in community development and developing strategic relationships and initiatives that proactively address the root causes of poverty.
Jodie Jay
Jodie helps coordinate the operational activities required to maintain and develop the smooth running of the charity including food sourcing, distribution and day to day activities.
Sara Redwood
Sara provides and oversees the role of reception and administration support, as well as supporting the day-to-day office and buildings functions.
Sam Johnson
Sam recruits, trains and supports our amazing team of volunteers (inc. corporate groups) in our warehouse, offices and distribution centres.
David Eccles
David’s supervises the Warehouse and driving volunteer teams, implementing appropriate procedures to support the smooth running of stock control and stock movement across the distribution pathway.
Imy Hopkins
Imy’s role involves identifying some of the key local issues driving poverty and foodbank use in Cardiff and bringing people together to campaign on these issues.
