Meet the team
Behind all of our amazing volunteers, are a dedicated team of staff all working to see that no one in Cardiff goes hungry. Here's a little introduction to them all.
Rachel Biggs
Rachel leads the Cardiff Foodbank charity, focussing on vision, communications and managing the staff team.
Mark Tugwell
Mark manages key staff, partnerships and systems, developing work that responds to the reasons why people access the food bank and helps to strengthen the charities support and impact.
Jodie Jay
Jodie manages the operational activities required to maintain and develop the smooth running of the charity including food sourcing, distribution and day to day activities.
Sara Redwood
Sara provides and oversees the role of reception and administration support, as well as supporting the day-to-day office and buildings functions.
Imy Hopkins
Imy’s role involves identifying some of the key local issues driving poverty and foodbank use in Cardiff and bringing people together to campaign on these issues.
Suzanne Morrow
Suzanne develops and coordinates campaigns, press and public relations activities, branding and social media content.
Rex Exworthy
Rex collects food & other essential donations, as well as delivering to our 8 distribution centres across the city. He also keenly supports our fundraising activities.
