Do you want to get involved in helping your community this Christmas? Could you help us out for a few hours with our Christmas collections at Tesco stores across Cardiff?
From 1st-3rd December, we’ll be collecting food and financial donations at three Tesco stores in Cardiff and we’re looking for people to give 2-3 hours to help us out.
You’ll be greeting customers, offering ‘shopping lists’ of the best items to donate, and receiving food donations.
Donating your time will help us to maximise donations to the foodbank at a time when demand for emergency food parcels is at an all-time high. You’ll also be raising awareness of our work among the local community. And for every donation you collect, our friends at Tesco will ‘top-up’ the value of the donations by 20%.
You don’t have to be a regular volunteer, simply fill in the Google form to put yourself down for a time slot in one of the three Tesco stores we’ll be collecting in: Western Avenue, Culverhouse Cross and St Mellons.
