Covid-19 Updates

News and Updates from Cardiff Foodbank during the Covid-19 Pandemic

We are closely watching the guidance from the Welsh Government and the Trussell Trust. We will be adjusting and changing the way we need to work so that we can continue to offer our service safely. We will post updates relevant to Cardiff Foodbank on this page and we will also share news via our social media channels (Twitter & Facebook).

If you have a non-urgent matter you wish to discuss with Cardiff Foodbank, please would you email us on [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Urgent Food Needs for those facing financial difficulties.
In order to access Cardiff Foodbank you need to get a Cardiff Foodbank voucher. If you are in Council accommodation, you could talk to your Housing Officer as they might have access to Foodbank Vouchers. Most Housing Associations have access to our vouchers and so could be of help if you live in a Housing Association property.  If you are receiving support from other agencies it will also be worth checking with them too, however we are aware that a number have changed how they are working during this time.

For any urgent food needs, please would you contact the Cardiff Council line on 029 2087 1071 and they will be able to help you.

Our Foodbank Centres
If you have a foodbank voucher you will be able to take this to one of our open sessions to redeem it for a 3 day emergency food parcel.  Details of our open centres can be found by clicking the Locations menu options on our website or visiting this link:  https://cardiff.foodbank.org.uk/locations/

Food Donations
If you would like to donate food during this time we would encourage you to place it in one of the supermarkets listed on our website. We will be collecting regularly from the  locations listed on this page https://cardiff.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/

You can also donate financially to us via our Local Giving page here: https://localgiving.org/charity/cardifffoodbank/
