In June 2021, Robert Goldsmith and his sons Tom, Ollie and Adam are doing a cycle tour of the UK and Ireland capital cities in order to raise funds for a charity local to each of the cities. Starting in Edinburgh they are going to ride 1,000kms over 8 days taking in each of Belfast, Dublin, Cardiff and London and we are thrilled that they have chosen Cardiff Foodbank as one of the charities who will receive approximately a fifth of the total donations they raise.
Robert explained the motivation behind such an epic cycle ride saying, “With urban foodbanks and homeless services under such pressure due to COVID (amongst other reasons) we want to try and raise money for those who are hungry or homeless in each of our capital cities.”
